Are you guys only considering this cause HBO asked about it?

    118-126 is a 8 pound jump.

Regardless, Gamboa and Juanma are big guys who are fast and strong in their own right and are the naturally bigger fighters in this matter. Gamboa is fast and strong and ****, Who says Donaire can even take a natural featherweight punch? You don't know that yet, and who says his power will climb 8 pounds?? I'm not saying he can't do it, but come on, you guys are completely skipping 122 and putting him with fighters who are no slauch and have the background to prove it at 126. What happens when Donaire gets hit with a fast Gamboa punch or Lopez hook? You guys need to know why there's even weight classes.

IMO, Gamboa and Lopez beat him, if he proves me wrong - fine. But 8 pounds makes a difference, these are naturally bigger guys who are strong and are ready to hit 130 in the next year or two. And that's another 4 pounds on Donaire they have.

Why chase after the FW names when there are still plenty of great fighWhen he has unified and dominated at 118 and 122 then think of moving up.

Nonito should fight 2x or 3x more in BW, on the way to the HOF

As a boxing fan, I would like to see the Flash go through the gauntlet of very talented fighters in the BW and SBW divisions to establish his dominance in the lower weights. Go through moreno, mares/agbeko, then move up and take on rigo and vazquez on the way to building a HOF worthy resume. If he succeeds, he should target Juanma and Gamboa, then close his career with belts in the SFW division. Depending on how well he does, he should get in the ATG lists then. I think he's got the talent, the size, the speed and skill to pull it off.
