did i say agbeko fights like azumah you ****munk? i said the fight is gonna resemble nelson whitaker where the much supremely athletic & faster fighter dominated his opponent.

Pop is not what he needs. Just keeping at short range to mid range is what can win the fight for king kong. He has enough power to get respect period.
I never said by ko, but I did ask for someone to tell me what donaire would do at close range and no one has.

Shadows, that helps my point is hase is at 126. There's no better fight at 118 or 122 if agbeko wins for nonito.

How is he going to get to the short and mid range though? Nonito has better footwork and can move faster in the ring. Agbeko will have box on Nonitos terms I'm thinking. It would be interesting regardless. Agbeko is going to have to get through Mares first though (which will be an awesome fight in it's own right).

for the ones that are saying donaire will ko agbeko i would suggest them to study up a bit. a solid chin & durability is agbekos strong points (along with stamina) he's not gonna knock out agbeko. he could decision him sure enough.....i would call it a 50/50 fight. i thought donaire vs montiel was a miss match (everyone thought i was nuts) this wouldn't be a mismatch.

agbeko is a wild pressure guy that does unpredictable things. he fights inside, he likes to fight you every second of each round. he doesn't care about your strategy.

this style could throw donaire off.....

The closest thing I've seen Nonito getting caught in the ropes was against Concepcion, and it was just for a split second and just for a couple of occasions (Yes, say it! I bought that Pinoy Power ppv! LMAO!). It will be a tough task to pin Nonito to the ropes to get to an inside fight with him, plus you'll eat a lot of his counter left hooks and straight rights just to get past him. Vic Darchinyan and Sydorenko tried it, and paid the price. Donaire's got great foot speed, balance and that sense of where his opponent will be, I even laughed at that turn around move he made twice on Vic and got warned for it! LMAO!!!

Agbeko will eat at lot of leather and survive it to win this imo...

Hasegawa who,, the one that montiel beat in japan? is there another one at feathers that i don't know about yet?

kingkong will not be able to get close to donaire. Too much speed alone not to mention the power. Close to mid range,,, donaire will eat him with combos.. Yes,,, even at superbantams weight. Agbeko is not that big slick to beat nonito on the inside.

Donaire needs to learn how to fight in the pocket or needs to learns how to fight inside. He can't fight at a distance all the time.

If he does that, the night will be too short for him. Just like what had happen to darchinyan.
