I just posted the size stats in another thread....Donaire is 0.5 in taller and Juanma has a 1 in reach advantage....pretty even. Juanma has the power but Donaire is a SUPERIOR boxer, excellent counter puncher

      lol @ you hypocrites

donaire came in the ring at 126
montiel came in the ring at 134

Juanma fights at 126 and comes in the ring at what weight? please enlighten me
juanma has yet to be weighed on fight night for any of his fights at 126.

for penalosa in 2009, juanma weighed 131 fight night. my guess is he's now close to 140 fight night. just a guess though.

as for gamboa, he weighed 140 fight night for his last fight.

is donaire too small for the big boys at 126? maybe, but who knows.

thank you sir, someone willing to answer my questions.

So I guess some of the ******s using their logic should suggest juanma fights timothy bradley and amir khan at 140 pounds.

We're talking about two-different class of fighters here.

Donaire is levels above Maricon - He has the size to be effective at FW.
          Keyword right there.

Concepcion was supposedly faster than Juanma and look who landed first.

            it's not all about height.

juanma is the bigger boxer and arguably a bigger punch and probably a better punch resistance cause he's fighting bigger guys.

but like I said, stylistically donaire beats jml, but in the ring with jml's size, it will be different.

How the hell does anyone know the outcome of Lopez-Donaire after tonight with such a small sample size where Montiel hardly had a chance to mount an offensive?

well, what if JML doesn't have a chance to mount an offense either? montiel is a lot faster and more skilled than JML.

but JML does have the size advantage.

No waay,, nonito might have the advantage in speed department but lopez is not that slow neither. Lopes knows how to cut the ring off and successfully have done so in his prior fights. Nonito will be fighting backwards all time and will get hammered slowly into pulps. Nonito will have to wait 2 years before even thinking of fighting him.

nonito's footspeed will be too much for jml. I do favor jml to win, just based on size, but stylistically nonito can outbox jml.
