On the replay, the stoppage didn't look so bad. Hearns was badly hurt.

That's not fair either. Sturm is a pretty good fighter. Seb Sylvester, Griffin, and the second Castillejo fight were all decent wins. However, Khoren Gevor got robbed in their fight and the bottom line is that Martinez is the man who beat the man all the way back to Hopkins.

        Sturm don't fit in.

He ain't champ of anything but the utterly ridiculous heap of trash that is the WBA. He won't be that any longer than he can be made to face Golovkin.

          Very different fight.

Although Calzaghe missed a lot, he still landed most of the clean effective punches in that fight.

Hopkins didn't do much after round one, except hold and headbutt.

Why is a close fight against DLH at 160 supposed to be an accomplishment? What middleweight "champion" would be proud of a close fight with DLH??? The sad thing is that he probably could have won, if only he had not fought so negatively.

That is a fair way to look at it he does have some skills and talent but really to me has not looked as sharp from the Gevor fight which he should have lost up until now.

yea it was different because the white guy was the one throwing more but not landing instead of hearns throwing more but not landing. very different indeed.

only in your mind. only in your mind.

Sturm, just like AA would be a force if they had any heart, or determination. Instead they just sit there with there high defense, and wait for their power to take over. Unforatunaetyl that only works with bums, as you are seeing with AA.

Can't knock that win but the rest are not impressive. Martinez, Pirog, and Pavlik after a long layoff whoops Sturm.
