who gets more Props/least hate from you, Victor Ortiz or Devon Alexander.......

I am going to have to correct you. Victor Ortiz did make up excuses. He said he broke his left hand in the fight against Marcos Maidana. In his other loss to Lamont Peterson . He said that his hands were double wrapped. Victor Ortiz also, for whatever reason believes he did enough to deserve the decision.
Excuses are also part of the game. Fighters are conditioned over time to truly believe they are the best in the world. When they lose, they will search for anything that to them, can explain why they lost. It does not have to make sense to you or me. They need it for themselves. It is a natural part of rebuilding confidence. Every fighter on the planet, hell every person on the planet, will naturally search for a reason on why something did not go as expected.Comment

Remember when Manny got cut against Morales? Did you not see his letdown? His fire left him that night. Did he bounce back the next time? he sure did. Never judge a fighter for having a mentally bad night. Getting a bad cut can cause a fighter to lose it mentally, and then unravel their entire night.
The next time they get cut or hurt will determine where they will end up. Most overcome it the next time around.Last edited by deanrw; 02-19-2011, 11:49 AM.Comment

That was a great fight with Morales and Pacquiao. Pacquiao showed some heart in that fight. I give Ortiz more props since he seemed to be at his limit while Alexander just quit out the blue..... I mean he straight up pulled a Zab Judah lol.Remember when Manny got cut against Morales? Did you not see his letdown? His fire left him that night. Did he bounce back the next time? he sure did. Ummm Pac actually continued and went to war for 7 more rounds!!! That's what ortiz and alexander were supposed to do as young fighters. And Ortiz has not been the same after the maidana fight. Im pretty sure everybody sees that.Remember when Manny got cut against Morales? Did you not see his letdown? His fire left him that night. Did he bounce back the next time? he sure did. Co-Signed. They are both kids. I'm sure with more fights and years of experiance their attitude in the ring will change and mature.Comment
