Ortiz much more so. He was in a dog fight against a guy who was simply too tough and too strong. He gave it all he could until he quit.

Alexander I thought built up a nice lead and once that lead started slipping (I think I had it a tie or 1 pt lead for Alexander at the stoppage) he tried to get out of the fight. I mean the dude screamed bloody murder in the opposite eye from which he was hit.

I want either Maidana or Ortiz to take him out the game for good, they both are too much man for him

No way in hell was Alexander building up any kind of a lead in that fight.

Ortiz-Maidana was an actioned packed foty candidate. Bradley-Alexander ******.

Ortiz tried to win and gave up when he realised he wasn't going to win and his opponent was too strong.

Alexander didn't try to win at all.

Ortiz earned his money, Alexander stole his.

When they are that young, I am forgiving for how they went out in their fights. Both only saw previous success and had a very difficult time dealing with adversity for the first time. They simply lost their heads.

My point is everyone deserves a pass for having a bad night and losing their head. The question becomes are they now prepared to overcome the next time they have to deal with adversity? I hope so. Both are very entertaining but were brought along too quickly. Both of them fought two extremely hungry and strong fighters and hit a wall.

Many fighters also have a hard time mentally dealing with bad cuts for the first time. Some examples are Baby Bull, Pavlik, and now these two. Pavlik and Baby Bull did not quit, but you could see the letdown in them, like it was all falling apart

I haven't seen the fight since then, but I remember giving most of the early rounds to Alexander, even though he was pitty patting and scoring with those weak jabs, it was more activity than the 1 or 2 'blows' landed by Bradley. Most of the swing rounds I gave to Alexander.

I think it was around Rd 5, where I started leaning more towards Bradley on the score cards because he was mounting better pressure and using a little more than his head.

I had it extremely close or a tie. My card was pretty much the same score as the third judge or something. I thought neither fighter dominated at any point of the fight

I am going to have to correct you. Victor Ortiz did make up excuses. He said he broke his left hand in the fight against Marcos Maidana. In his other loss to Lamont Peterson . He said that his hands were double wrapped. Victor Ortiz also, for whatever reason believes he did enough to deserve the decision.

I think this poster is Brandon Rios. Why do you hate Ortiz so much?
