JMM dont deserve to fight Pac now. He has done nothing since moving up from 130

Julio Diaz and Freitas were top rated fighters at the time. Also the Lakva Sim was very solid win for Diaz...Diaz was also coming off a win over Katsidis.

How was Corrales? And, you only lose lineal titles by retirement or moving up in weight. And, Casamayor was coming off a KO win over an undefeated top contender in Katsidis before fighting JMM.

No Katsidis actually put in work to get his rankings by beating up and comers and wildly rugged vets. Like Escobedo, Chavez, and Mitchell. There is no shame in losing to the likes of Casamayor and Juan Diaz...There's bigger shame in getting a draw with the likes of Sergio Mora.

I would favor Katsidis over Soto. And, maybe even over Guerrero but that could be more of a 50/50 fight.

So did these fighters, I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Let me correct that. I dont want to get ****ted based on semantics..They were not the top fighter, but they were one of the top fighters at WW.

They were one of the top fighters because they were just losing among themselves. So their rankings were just switchin among each other..

No Margarito was not top rated at WW because he wasn't competing at WW any longer...And, hadn't won a fight at WW in over 2 years prior to facing Pac.

Mosley is not top rated at WW either. I'm sorry if you only one win at WW in the last 3 and a half years you can not be considered a top rated WW.

Again look at all JMM opponent and tell me which one had only win at LW for 2 or 3 years prior facing JMM.

Diaz and Freitas were top rated fighters because guys like Corales, Castillo moved up to LWW, plus the top fighters in the SFW division has not moved up yet.. So in other words, Diaz was on top of a shallow LW divsion..

Casamayor only had one good fight and that was against Katsidis whom I dont really rate that high. He should have lose that lineal championship to Sta Cruz, to tell you the truth..

Katsidis when it was time for him to step up his competition, he lose.. And he lose against a shot fighter coming out of a long vacation..

There were only 3 fighters of merit in that division during 2008. It's Pac, Campbell, and JMM.. You could also add Valero and Guzman who were both undefeated..So other than Pac, which of these fighters did JMM fought... None..

It was different from the WW when you had Mosley, May, Marg, Cotto, Clottey, and Berto. You could add Williams but we really dont know what division he was campaigning at..Those were 7-8 names, and out of that Pac already fought 4. And in a span of 2++ years.

um what? He's more deserving then any other fighter. definitely more than Mosley and Margarito. Marquez has done a lot since he moved up.

I agree. JMM needs get himself dominated and get brutally knocked the F out first, before he even start talking about facing the GOAT. He needs to learn.

JMM needs to fight someone who is significant and a legitimate contender. I am not even asking him to do it WW. He can start by fighting someone at LW, eventhough that division has been depleted since last year..

To say something like that is like comparing it to Floyd's lineal championship at WW.. He did beat Judah, and Baldomir but everybody knew that Mosley, Cotto, and Marg were the consensus top fighters in that time..

The same case here, Casamayor was the lineal champ (something that he didnt defend for a year), but there were like 3-4 fighters better than him in that weight class..
