I have never been a fan of a boxer fighting after their time and yes, Jones Jr should of retire once He started getting beat by lesser fighters. Maybe after Tarver.

No doubt, I can agree with that. Mosley was the #1 WW and it would been the bigger risk/challenge in fighting Mosley. But, the Cotto fight wasn't a bad option either and pretty risky/challenging going into the fight. Now looking back in hindsight it was a cake walk but people had different opinions at the time.

Yes Mosley was the better fight but Cotto wasn't a bad fight and yes Pac deserves credit to say otherwise is absurd.

I agree but not full credit. If he beat Cotto at 147, for sure, but at 145? He wasn't even sure if he could hang with a legit WW fighter. I think that only deserves half credit. Cotto beat Mosley at 147 and Pac didn't. Fighting Shane instead of Cotto would have been a better look.

That's what I'm saying. Everything I be bringing up really was said or happened. How does that make me a *****? Because I'm saying it and they don't want to hear it? My thing is that, Pac already fought successfully at WW against Oscar but needed a weight advantage against Cotto? The same Cotto who already was looking a lil shaky after Marg and in the Clottey fight (Props to Cotto for fighting with blood running in his eye like it was). No name calling or cursing can change that this conversation indeed happened between Roach and Mosley.....

We all agree that Roy Jones Jr should be hanging em up now but no one can take away what he did in the start and the prime of his career. Don't see Pac being considered as a greater fighter over Roy Jones in the boxing hall of fame when it is all said and done.

Pac beats Mosley.....more failed attempts at Floyd negotiations, then Pac and Berto fight...Pac destroys him too and then it's off to rematch JMM yet again next March. Pac finishes off 2012 with a match against Omar Chavez.

These Pac guys are bugging. Manny Pacquiao was not more skillful than Roy Jones Jr in his prime. Manny was already losing to bums early in his career while no bums every touched Jones Jr. Roy Jones jumped from Middleweight to Heavyweight without a catchweight and won a title which hasn't been done in over a century. In his prime, Roy Jones Jr was an amazing fighter. That's the point I am making. Pac fans think no one is or was greater than Pac? That's ridiculous. Jones finally got beat by an actual threat (Tarver) at the time. When was the last time Manny fought a threat? I don't want to make it into that kind of debate but to say Manny is greater than Roy Jones Jr was in his prime is crazy talk.

Floydites are equally amazing. You are quick to point out Manny's early losses, but fail to recognize, and admit too, that RJJ, FMJ are products of professional grooming.

Pac had no such thing.

Pac came from the dirt with lothesome training gyms , equipment and no doubt thrown to the lions.

Do you not have sense enough to know that the only one that counts is after Pac finally got a trainer and that was Freddie Roach.
