    Kingsley Ikeke. He knows how to fight tall and has a fantastic jab. I think he has a chance at beating any middleweight in the world right now.

      There's one old-time Bantamweight that immediately popped into my mind when I read this question, and that's the most unfortunate, Frankie Burns, whose very often classified as one of the very, very best Bantamweights in history to have never won a world title. That wasn't for lack of trying, though, as you can see he reserved more than a couple of opportunities to win a championship;

      ND-10 Johnny Coulon (Paperweight Championship at 115 lbs.)

      WNWS-10 Abe Attell (Featherweight Championship, which Burns needed to win by KO if he was to be declared the champion)

      L-20 Johnny Coulon (Bantamweight Championship)

      LNWS-10 Johnny Kilbane (Featherweight Championship)

      D-10 Johnny Coulon (Bantamweight Championship)

      D-20 Kid Williams (Bantamweight Championship)

      L-20 Pete Herman (Bantamweight Championship)

      LTKO-5 Johnny Kilbane (Featherweight Championship)

      That's eight opportunities to win a world title and each & every one of them pitted Burns against an eventual hall-of-famer. That's tough going, especially when the judges aren't seeing things your way and rob you of the decision, as was reportedly the case in Burns title fights with both Coulon (L-20) and Williams (D-20).

          There was this guy named Jose Luis Lopez, who lost to James Page and Ike Quartey, this guy had a chin of iron and hit like a middleweight, slow as hell dangerous. He gave James Page and Ike all they could handle..and lost to close decisions.

                Verno Phillips and Glenn Johnson should be top 2.

                  Jose Luis Lopez needed a better trainer and more dedication... but in reality i think was his lack of drive that caused him never to be anything big.
