It is, at every weigh in I've seen Pacquiao in, he looks like he can easily shed off 3-4 pounds. If they think that making this at 140 is gonna increase Marquez's chance...then they're dead wrong. I personally think he'll still be facing the same monster Cotto, Clottey and Margarito faced.

Pac can make 140 IMO, however it won't benefit him as making 147, where he doesn't even have to worry so much about cutting anything off.

Pacman is the shot caller, and if he prefers to stay at 147, then so be it.

Arum won't do a mosley fight until he left golden boy.

Marquez only gets a shot when he leaves golden boy.

Arum say's he won't co promote with golden boy because they don't know what they are doing. He called them amateurs or something like that.

If only floyd would grow a pair and get off vacation. Bob arum would finally be willing to work with his main rival................sure. Yet the blind lay blame solely at floyd's feet.

A) If Top Rank-GBP co promoted and share all revenue 50/50 and the projections of 3 million+ buys comes true, that means it's the equivalent a Pac fight doing 1.5 mil buys. Not to mention all the cash involved outside of PPV sales from the gate, advertisements, etc.

B) Floyd is not signed to Golden Boy, they are not necessary in the equation. Shane's not signed to GBP or any other promotional company, neither will Marquez... they have their own companies and are truly their own bosses..... which I thought Floyd was

Take Jamie Foxx out of the picture and replace him with Jerry Jones or Steve Wynn, and you have all the people necessary to make the fight happen.



Floyd just has to give the word and go back to daddy Warbucks.

Includes JMM, I'm not counting Clottey as just a straight up garbage fight. Because, it was not that bad of an opponent coming back from the 08 and 09 run Pac had. Where he actually took real challenges and fights. So him fight Clottey was OK...But, Marg? Mosley? And, now JMM at 147? Is Garbage...And, then possibly the winner of Cotto-Margarito II? Laughable.

The same guy I feel he should be fighting in May, Berto...If not wait till July to see if Bradley beats Khan. That would make Bradley an ideal opponent as well. I am only interested in a JMM fight if it's at 135. That's the only weight-class where the fight would be intriguing and competitive.
