Not even close to what Haye Harrison had. Haye Harrison had an hour long preview on Sky Sports.
I don't think it's logic to use such a vague idea like 'if it did well on PPV it means everyone wanted to see it' I mean the fight was CLEARLY aimed at a casual audience and the promotion they put into it was crazy.
Plus, Haye said on Ringside even hardcore boxing fans wanted to see it which is a complete lie.Comment

The promotion clearly fooled the casual audience into believing Harrison had a chance at beating Haye.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 02-18-2011, 02:17 PM.Comment

The fact is it cannot be not justified.Comment

Nope, They paid to support Haye they knew it was a mismatch like Hatton-Lazcano. Haye is close to having the casual support that Hatton had. When the British public get behind a sports star they will buy anything, even more so if it involves another Brit.Last edited by Rick Grimes; 02-18-2011, 02:29 PM.Comment

The fact that it did well on PPV is justification enough. Now Wlad-Chisora you cannot justify.Comment

Your point makes NO SENSE (shock). If that 1 million people had wanted to see the fight, there'd have been no need for promotion, 24/7 etc.
So saying "everyone wanted to see it" as to why it was made is a fallacy. It sold because of the way it was hyped and promoted - aka fooling the public into thinking it was something to see.Last edited by Dirk Diggler UK; 02-18-2011, 03:52 PM.Comment
