the point isn't that they put all their money into 1 pot and share it. the point is we don't know or understand asian culture so we shouldn't be so quick to judge.

from a western perspective I agree with you, but someone with an eastern perspective might disagree with us.
Please stop saying Asian. This is a filipino thing. Your judging quicker then anybody from 75% of the worlds point of view

pinoys only respect pac's father cause of pac's actions. when pac respects and honors his pops, other people do to.

But are you suggesting he should hold a vendetta against his own father for a measly grand lol? Nice.
It was his father that left first of all. Telling your father not to steal is disrupting the family while stealing isnt disruptng the family?

Im saying its his father that has to do the apologizing and the one that has to be forgiven

His dad left cause he got accused of stealing and we're talking about a thousand dollars here not 50 grand or some ****. I can understand how that would be offensive to his dad, especially if a big ass deal was made out of it. I personally wouldn't even bring it up and if I did I would make sure nothing bad came from bringing it up. Not even worth fighting over.

I honestly don't understand what the hell half of you are trying to say? If my dad pocketed a thousand from me I'd assume he needed it for something and it's not like I wouldn't give it to him if he asked for it.

                look it up for yourself.

japan culture is patriarchal. so is korean culture. we already talked about mongol culture which is very silmilar to most central asian cultures especially turkish culture. khan from south asian cultures. and as you know, in ****** countries men dominate the household and ******s make up all the middle east to afghanistan into india, as well and indonesia. the vietnamese are heavily influenced by the chinese. etc... and so on and so forth.

it's an asian thing.... we wouldn't understand cause we are westerners.

seriously.... I mean losing your relationship with your father, mother and brother because of $1000???? man that's ****in petty.

I'd be pissed if it was spent on ******** for something ****** like that, but that wouldn't stop from having a relationship with the fam.
