Pull, i dont get it, how are you only blaming Nonito for this?

He humiliated himself. He deserved everything he got

The thing with you pull is that you are blaming nonito for everything by using old filipino customs when you infact are not filipino

So tell me, leaving the filipino ideals, what is your opinion on this situation

The woman just made a big deal out it to create a wedge between Nonito and his parents...scheming is the keyword...

Donaire will never be in Pacquiao's league even within 1% of Pac's caliber as a son and as a person. Pac's family was abandoned by his father for another woman and left them to fend for themselves at a very young age. But what did Pac do? He forgave his father, build him a house for his new family and brought him to Las Vegas to watch him fight....

I'm a Filipino and I'm rooting for Montiel.....*** the ingrate who is controlled by the woman's powerful vagina...

Pac's father is a hero for leaving his family when Pac was young. Good to know. Nice to see how filipinos have so much respect for a man that leaves his family for 30 years

nah man... but you obviously don't understand asian culture.

for example... i read or saw this someplace... but when you go to mongolia and stay with some mongols in their tents in the countryside, they'll treat you like a king and make sure you're fed and you got a place to sleep. but when you try and pay them for giving you food and shelter, they won't take it no matter how much you try to give it to them. so what you do is, you give it (money, a gift, whatever) to the children. then when you take off... the parents take it from the kids.

to us... that's theft. but in asian cultures... what belongs to one belongs to all and the head of the household controls everything.

seriously... we westerners should stay out of the donaire's family problems cause we do not have the right perspective to judge them based on our culture.

from a western perspective I agree with you. but someone from an eastern perspective might disagree with us.

I'm not blaming nonito. I'm trying to tell you what we westerners don't have the right perspective to be assigning blame.

my personal opinion is that I don't know enough about the donaire family, or eastern culture to really place blame on anyone.

that's like us going into iraq and thinking we'll be greeted as liberators. we don't understand the culture and we shouldn't **** with something we don't understand.
