Did you forget Ward won a gold medal being more slick than brutish. I stated in a similar thread that the way Ward has fought recently is a product of the opponents he has faced. If he fought a with a lot of distance against Green or Bika it would have opened him up for big shots. Both guys were free swingers who generate the most power with space. He fought the smart fight and smothered them which was a surprise to them. For one thing fighters and fans alike didnt think he could out tough the tough guys. Now that we see he can he has been hated on even more. Thats a haters mentality, what can you do. He will come out against AA and box from a distance out of necessity.
