It wasn't an error, it was his choice. It's not like an official point deduction. I could watch a round where a guy gets knocked down 5 times, and it still fully in my right to score that round 10-9 if I deem so fit.

I'm pretty sure the judge admitted to scoring the first round incorrectly.

if a guy gets knocked down 5 times, you have to score it 10-4.

besides the first round marquez won almost every round. im not saying that he did win 11 rounds but he won 8 or 9 rounds probably. its been a while since i have watched it but i have watched that fight probably 6 or 7 times including watching it live. it was a close fight and could have gone either way. one judge scored it for marquez.

I recall hearing in the HBO commentary, don't remember which fight, that judges don't like to score a round more the 10/6 or something because it put the fighter at a serious disadvantage. As for me i had Marquez up when i scored it, i gave Pac about 2-3 rounds with 1 even and the rest to Marquez.
