it's gonna be interesting to soo who's the aggressor this fight.

if nonito makes montiel come to him, montiel can be timed, he doesn't work his way in that well with the jab or head/body movement. he just flies in winging 2-3 punch combos and he will get timed doing that shi t. if he can get nonito to come to him all fight he has a better chance to land something nonito doesn't see.


they both like to fight at distance and donaire appears to have spped/footspeeed on his size. they both have a huge aresenal of punches and nice pop.

hasa timed montiel a couple times and i just don't think he can stand up to nonito's shot he don't see coming

not like this though. People overhyped it cuz it was two highly ranked fighters but everyone thought it was going to go 12 full rounds and be a tactical fight. I remember saying to people there was even a good chance it could very well be a stinker just based on styles.

I don't wanna overhype this or nothin but in terms of legacy, this could be as big for both fighters as barrera-morales. Or, in terms of building up a cultural rivalry, it could be like pac vs the mexican trio all over again. Actually, i wish arce was a little bigger and a little younger, he'd have been a great ghird party to a trio
