It's easy to say that someone is "on" something, in order to explain away one's own insecurity. Captain insecurity can't for the life of him, fathom how he isn't the toast of the sporting world. Why he's on the outside looking in, and here you have a foreigner who is on every talk show, magazine cover, a feature story who has become a crossover superstar where he could not. He has one person to blame...HIMSELF. Going on 6 years now and he has avoided every tough match-up whether perceived or realistic, and it's been to his detriment. If he fought Pac tomorrow and it was a great fight, even if he lost, he will have elevated himself in the public's eyes, much in the same way that Holyfield was able to do in his first fight with Bowe. But captain insecurity would much rather pull the race card, label another fighter as a cheat than to see the truth in himself. That his life revolves around having never lost a fight, and if he lost it, he would be questioning himself for the rest of his life. Insecurity is a b*tch.
