golden boy are too smart... i guess they see the 'hatton' name as a better fight in terms of monetary value.... but i think they know alvarez would risk losing too much against a fighter as good as ryan rhodes....

i hope matthew beats saul (although i don't see it), and ryan rhodes gets the shot he deserves and becomes a world champion.

abit of a shocker for rhodes. he's been out of the ring for a while now he's gonna need a tune up before taking on the winner (alvarez).

      war rhodes

          I've said it before.

          Rhodes-Alvarez = Epic slug fest.

Not been out for that long, only since December, but it's a long while since a meaningful fight, hopefully he gets the shot he deserves soon, really nice guy too

Nah, Hatton will lose. Don´t be jealous of Saul or other Mexican fighters. If Rhodes is so good, let´s see him face Perro Angulo when he is allowed to fight again. Brits suck.

Never seen Rhodes fight, but I've been reading some positive reviews on BoxingScene the last couple of days. I'll check a fight out tomorrow.

According to WBC, Rhodes was "unavailable" to fight for the belt for the last 2 years

Why give him a title eliminator if you're not gonna give him a title shot
