Margarito rarely touched Mosley and was stopped in 9 rounds. An inactive/non-top 10 rated Margarito did hurt Pacquiao to the body at one point in the fight.

And I can't imagine Pacquiao doing any better against the only guy who has badly hurt Mosley, the Vernon Forrest that Mosley fought at 147 would wipe the floor with current Pacquiao. Trinidad and DLH wanted no part of Foresst because he was "high risk, low reward" and brought nothing to the table. Anyway, yeah, that's last guy who really hurt Mosley so that was a long time ago.
Co-sign here.Although it seems like 99% of bs knows that Mosley has nothing left as far as resistance to Pacman's offensive machine. So I guess the next logical question would be:why the hell is this fight on ppv??My answer is that I hope somewhere down in Mosley's gut,he can find 1 more performance to match what he did against Margarito coming in as a huge underdog.

His chin is great, he took flush shots from Cotto well enough.
      That's not a huge feat.

Zab Judah of all fighters, took some vicious shots from a prime Cotto and withstood it until the 12th round when he was finally stopped.

Margarito also too all of Cotto's shots and smiled, he couldn't take Mosley's shots all that well, as we saw he was KTFO by old man Mosley.

Yeah Pacquiao has speed and power, and Mosley is old, but people are acting like Mosley is some kind of weakling who can't punch and just got lucky with catching Floyd. It's not luck, Mosley is very powerful and he's pretty fast himself, can hurt anybody with the right-placed punch.

there is much truth to this post. the question is, tho, will shane be able to even hit pac? i think he might. if he hits him cleanly, who knows??? thats the only thing that makes this fight intriguing.

          Easy

PAC has a great beard. That shot wouldn't have bothEred him in the least.

Mosley will probably lose this fight, but I doubt it will be by stoppage and i'm pretty sure Mosley will catch Pacquiao more than a few times. At the same time, I really think old man Mosley does have some kind of puncher's chance to beat Pacquiao.

There's always the chance that Pacquiao's new hair style might get wet from sweat or water and get in his eyesight and Mosley can tee off on him if that happens. Lol.

Manny has better punch resistance than Floyd and he is a tough sob so he would have survived it.

Pac wont even buckle on that 1st shot, buzz him yes but not like mayweather. The 2nd one would definitely rattle pac but come on now you're talking about one of the best conditioned and toughest fighter today. He ain't going down that easy.

I think Pacquiao has definitely shown he is there to be hit, even this "new" Pacquiao.

If you look at his fights against Cotto, Clottey and Margarito they all more or less average around 30% landed punches, which in boxing is not exactly a number for an elusive fighter. You compare that to Mayweather's 10-15% landed punches on him on average, and you see Pacquiao apparently is not that hard to hit. I mean, if Margarito can catch Pacquiao almost 30%, and only landed 22% on Mosley, and Pacquiao is "elusive" then what does that make Mosley? Pernell Whitaker's son?

But styles make fights, so we'll have to see.
