All you have to do is look at the rest of that fight to see that the right hands Floyd took were purely tactical error on his part, and probably a little too much ****iness as well. Floyd was sitting right there in front of Mosley, making it too easy.

Manny is always moving, back and forth side to side, he'll never be there for a flush right hand like that, just like Floyd made sure he was never in a position to get hit by one again.

The uppercut that Cotto landed in their fight in my opinion was a harder punch and landed square on the chin and Pac took that one pretty decent. I agree that maybe Pac's legs buckles and he chills for the rest of the round but the next round he would try and make Shane pay for landing that shot. Thats how he usually rolls, he might get hit but sooner or later your going to get something harder in return and in more volume

Pac hasn't been down, much less seriously hurt in a fight in years. He's going to brutalize Mosley. Guarantee Mosley will be in survival mode come the end of this fight, if he answers the final bell at all.

Ok fair enough. I can agree with you on the fact that Floyd did hang in the pocket all night against Mosley, and you are absolutely right in saying that the reason he got hit with those punches was mis-timing, tactical rust. However, I COMPLETELY disagree with you on Manny not getting hit with right hands simply because of his constant movement. I would say that the straight right is actually the punch Manny is MOST susceptible. Cotto and Marquez landed str8 rights on Manny almost at will and Mosley hits a heck of a lot harder than either of them. At the end of the day, although Manny had improved, he still gets hit an awful lot. Mosley is going to hit Pac at some pint especially with Pac's willingness to exchange, how Pac reacts to those shots is yet to be seen.

I think he'll be fine, as long as it's not sustained, like in the Mayweather fight.
Manny also took a few clean uppercuts from Cotto and Margarito, which he ate and continued on like it was nothing.

I'm not sure what the big deal was about the 2nd round. Yeah, Mayweather got hit, he didn't even go down. Welcome to boxing.

Well Mosley himself hasn't been hurt in years. And Mosley has suffered less damage against common opponents. Mosley came out clean from his loss against a prime undefeated Cotto while Pacquiao came out with some kind of bandage over his ear against a Cotto who was regarded as damaged goods.

Margarito rarely touched Mosley and was stopped in 9 rounds. An inactive/non-top 10 rated Margarito did hurt Pacquiao to the body at one point in the fight.

And I can't imagine Pacquiao doing any better against the only guy who has badly hurt Mosley, the Vernon Forrest that Mosley fought at 147 would wipe the floor with current Pacquiao. Trinidad and DLH wanted no part of Foresst because he was "high risk, low reward" and brought nothing to the table. Anyway, yeah, that's last guy who really hurt Mosley so that was a long time ago.

If Pac gets rocked the way Mayweather did he wouldn't have been able to survive because he does not know how to tie up and he does not have the skills that Mayweather has. Freddie Roach is not good at teaching his fighters how to fight on the backfoot look at Khan on the Maidana fight.
