I disagree....the reason I say this is because Floyd and Manny are two completely opposite styles.Manny is highly aggressive,so he is more likely to stop Shane than Floyd, who himself keeps defense and safety a priority and isn't trying to go for a ko victory.

I believe when you get as old as Shane,a year's difference can be a big deal. Before Floyd fought Shane, nobody knew he would gas out the way he did-it posed more risk entering the fight even if he was inactive-hence the fight fans really interested in the match-up.Hell,Floyd himself was coming off of a nearly 2 year lay off and had only 1 fight.

With the fight against Manny,he is coming into the fight with two horrible looking battles and is proven to have major stamina problems...in fact,he is only given a puncher's chance for the first 3-4 rounds max by most people. Most people if not all, consider this a mismatch and many people have said this match is a farce.I don't see how this can be a bigger win than Floyd's win was considering the recent proven history of Shane's career and the general opinion of the boxing public regarding this fight...only die-hard Pac fans who once said Shane was too old to fight Floyd (when at the same time said Floyd was too scared to fight Shane!!!!) would like to believe that Shane has somehow gained more credibility after having two crap fights.... where the hell is the logic?

The Mosley that will fight Pacquiao is also 39 years old BUT he is active NOT rusty as in the case when Floyd cherrypicked him.

Pacquiao's victory over the 39 year old Mosley will be more significant than Floyd's win against the same 39 year old. The inactivity is the main issue, not the age since Mosley is essentially the same age.
Floyds fighting style would make most fighters look bad hence they say styles make fights. If and when PAC fights floyd we might see a fight where PAC is used to fighting at his own pace. In the ring floyd has my respect. Outside is a whole other story. Everyone said that Shane performed well when he fought margo. Margo and PAC come to fight. Only difference now is PAC is faster. Question is, if PAC gets hit and gets hit again can he withstand the power and when he does feel shanes power will he box on the backfoot? If he does how effective will he be? Alternatively it could turn out to be a PAC vs Oscar and PAC takes him out. Let's wait and see

im sure floyd was very aware of how inactive shane was and liked it very much.

you cant say it didnt negatively affect shane.

now shane has just fought 2 very difficult to hit boxers who are very ellusive and move a lot.

so if anything hes more prepared for pac,who has very tricky movement.

and shane wont be inactive and rusty either, also this is probably his last chance at becoming p4p no 1,if he loses this he has other fights, but he will never again have the chance to become p4p no 1.
