I just recently got Dish and I'm considering getting this. It's only $10 a month, but I'm not sure if one fight is enough. I'd get it right away if EPIX just came out and said they plan to permamently add Boxing to their schedule.

So then is this not going to be on ESPN3.com because that would actually be much better than a channel almost no one has.

I am not in favor of this at all. There are already too many premium channels as it is. HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Starz etc..... Why add boxing to a channel that no one has? It already costs me an arm and a leg to subscribe to HBO and Showtime so I can keep up with my boxing fix. If the two premium heavyweights don't want the fight then put it on ESPN, Fox Sports, or Versus so the average Joe can see it. I have brighthouse cable in Orlando, and we don't have Epix. Even if we did I'm still not subscribing to another premium channel.

I have Dish Network as well.

What the hell else does EPIX offer?

Do you know if you could order Epix then cancel after the fight? (essentially making it a $10 ppv?)

Thats too bad, very few people have EPIX. I have Time Warner Cable and they turned down to carry the channel last year.

Yes you can. In fact it would be much cheaper than $10 because it would be prorated for how long you had it.

                $10/30 days=$0.33 per day

33 cent PPV. I think that's how much it cost to attend a Joe Louis fight.
