Klitschko vs Solis on cable network EPIX in the United States

(and yes this is now official per your favorite rotund writer Dan Rafael)
Does your cable/satellite provider offer this channel?

Directv, Comcast, and U-Verse do not have it right now.

    Dish Network does.

I'm hoping Directv will add it as this is what I got.

This is worse than paying for an internet stream.

Yes and No. It sucks in some ways but it's a good sign that a fledgling network is adding boxing as a tool to gain subscribers. Boxing isn't dying.

What's death to you? Absolutely zero boxing on TV? That will never happen.

Boxing alive to me is SportsCenter taking about boxing, even if for 1-2 minutes, every single day. Why aren't they previewing the Donaire-Montiel fight? I know they'd be previewing UFC FWs right now, maybe not BWs, but still.

I'm not going to argue with you. I take it as a positive that a new network wants to show boxing to gain subscribers. They see demand there that is not being met.

Props to Epix. I think Cox carries that channel.

Just reading Steve Kim's tweets on it he says EPIX is paying more than ESPN but less than HBO and Showtime, which I guess we'd all assume would be the case.
