Pacquiao visited Tim Smith's office (email accuser), Smith was nowhere to be found?

He should have been fired, its unprofessional behavoir IMO. Maybe its a different enviroment than what I work for, but I always do some research before I make a report, especially sensitive information and allegation that can have serious consequences. It doesnt matter where he get his sources, the point is he didnt do his homework. In the end its up to his boss to decide whether he should keep his job. Theres nothing wrong to question a person (pacquiao) but this just steps out of line. Its reckless reporting IMO


Its one of these "he says she says" bullshiet for small piece of limelight and $$$. Sad to say but this is what the media does nowadays. If it doesnt sell and create controversy then it is shiet to them.

Maybe you can start a petition to get him fired? That should work.

Take ESPN for example. They've ran stories like "Sources: Player X signs with Team Y".

Then it later comes out as a rumor and nothing is signed, and the story disappears from the website.

If they made a blunder,they would be asked to apologize to those that they mislead.I doubt Tim Smith or Teddy Atlas would give away their source,because more than likely they (Atlas and Smith) would want more info in the future and want to remain anonymous.

I wonder why these two haven't been legally threatened if they were voicing falsehoods (especially since these two people work for influential media that millions of people read/view)...unless they know something more than some of you fans know ( and are not even in the same boxing circles that Atlas or Smith are) ...which is quite likely.

Atlas and Smith will milk it to the max until the **** gave out. If there are really truth to these rumors, these 2 should have pursued their allegations until the end, I wonder what's holding them back? Is it because it was a false alarm? Teddy Atlas ran with it for a while like it was the ****, but he hasn't mentioned anything related to that email in a while...
