No, not at all. That means you going by a triangle theory. And, it doesn't work like that.

And, no Mosley is not deserving. A man with just 1 win at WW in the last 3 and half years is not deserving to fight Pac at WW. Just not...

      i AGREE

mosley mave have had a rocky road recently to get here!
but then again who has berto fought? ,,,,,ummmm ok i'm waiting!!!!
exactly!!! berto is not in deservance of a Pacquiao fight period.
And Marquez comes close, but i rather see the mosley fight at this point.
      Floyd above them all!

well then i say berto is not deserving a shot of manny as well just because berto, undefeated and "prime" he may be, hasn't fought the best out there. if he and mosley ever meet and he beat mosley, that's when i consider him as a candidate.

All you people who saying 'Who has Berto fought? he doesn't deserve a fight with Miss Pacman' are a bunch of ******s. How can you make cases on how Margicheato, Clottey, Mosely deserve it? Berto is a fighter with Speed/Power with alota buzz around his name, clearly he should of been the choice but that fight is to dangerous for Arum to make for his little princess miss pacman.

Damn Jro. I cant believe you entertained them for that long. You better than me homie.

It's not rocket science. We've seen Shane's performance for his last two fights. Against Floyd you coulda made a case for ring rust. Against Mora you cant. And in the Mora fight we say the exact same Shane that we saw on May 1st 2010.

Shane used to be one of my favorite fighters and still is to an extent(The PWill duck really hurt how I view Shane), but lets not hit the remote start on the hot tub time machine here. It's not 2000 anymore it's 2011. And that 12 round drubbing by floyd didn't do Shane no favors.

For those who think Berto is fast they don't know boxing to well Berto is not that fast his foot work is a bit slow his power is unknown because even a c-level fighter can score numerous knock outs if he's fighting nothing but stiffs. Berto would last 5 rounds with Pacquiao

Well Berto is a top 3 WW RIGHT NOW. Only behind Floyd and Pac. But, you're entitled to your opinion. But, Berto is also a fellow title holder at the same weight Pac is campaigning in. It would be a unification fight. But, I guess...

Stop waisting energy on this pointless conversation. We all know Mosley has not earned the right to fight Manny at all by coming off a loss to Floyd and a lack luster performance against Sergio.

Any fan of the sport would boycott this fight and any conversations about this fight and simply download it or watch it on ShowTime afterwards to kill their PPV #'s.

Boxing traditions and structure has been completely obliterated. Gone are the days when all a fighter had to do to earn a title shot was to fight his way up to the #1 ranking top contender spot while the champion faces #1 ranked top contenders- 1 after another. Berto, Bradley all deserve a shot at Manny because they're undefeated title holders who are only 4-to-7lbs away from Manny who, according to Roach, has to eat 7,000 calories a day to maintain 147lbs.

This is not about WHO Bradley and Berto has not proven themselves against. This is about boxing structure destroyed and we've accepted it. Now we have allowed boxing promoters to create this preverbal "GATE KEEPER" rank that is based on perception and totally destroys the structure of boxing.

                      Case and Point:
Berto and Bradley, are both undefeated title holders. Like ALi, Ray Leonard, Tyson, they have fought up through their division and made it to the #1 ranked top contender position and then faced the champion and won the title. Now they are title holders themselves, they should A) fight #1 Top Ranked Contenders or B) Fight Other Current Title Holders.

The last time I checked, there is no "GATE KEEPER" title or ranking in among any of the sanctioning bodies.

Requiring boxers to prove themselves against some hypothetical "Gate Keeper" who in most cases are not even ranked #1 top contender because they were most likely champions in earlier parts of their career is asinine. This logic is destroying boxing. If the fragile public perception of greatness is the basis for determining fights, then we must eliminate divisions and a rankings all together because this logic obviously outweighs the fights fought in the ring.
