I have watched the second fight many times.

Marquez CLEARLY won that fight imho, and most of the developed world agree's with me.

A draw is under-valuing JMM's performance, which is what officially happened.

I simply cannot give the swing rounds to Manny in that fight.

In the three close rounds..... JMM did enough to win them, Manny did not.

As I say..... MOST people had Marquez winning that fight, including Ronnie Nathanielz and Manny's mum. They watched the fight together, Dionesia thought Marquez put on a fantastic performance
So you're saying that there at least/at the most 3 swing rounds that you gave all to JMM?

By memory at least 5 or 6, 3 that I scored for Marquez and 1 that I scored a draw, and I had JMM ahead by two points. If you are gonna get technical I will have to watch the fight again, and dig out the notes I made when rewatching those specific rounds.

The thing is, unless I am scoring a fight in hindsight I will almost always stick with my original call..... after all, the ref gets one angle and no replays, and if the fight is close you gotta roll with flow. Like the first round in the first fight. I scored that 10-7. I counted the KD's, but I deducted a point for the punch while Marquez was on the deck in hindsight, I may not deduct that point, I would have to watch it again.

What I stated was, that there were 3 close rounds that I rewatched a number of times, and I could not make a case for Manny winning any of them. A case could be made for Marquez in each of those rounds, but a drawn round would be more accurate than envisioning that Manny somehow edged it.

Some of those rounds were very close.

Most journo's/fan's scored them for Marquez.

He certainly had better control of the fight than Pacquiao did.

I guess that you actually believe there was an official "second negotiation" for a second Floyd/Pac fight, huh?

If so, then gullible definitely was the correct adjective to use earlier.

              Who fkn cares ?

              That is not the point.

I will not content myself with Pacquiao vs Clottey, when Pac could have fought Mayweather.

              One word..... GULLIBLE !!

Arum's "in-house" operations are as ridiculous as the American political system, where they put two candidates in front of you that both work for the same team, and then inform you that you are "free" to choose whichever one you like the best

No that is the point u know why, because money isn't made from people who actually know about boxing, its made from people who barely know **** and sit at home with their remote and order the fights fool, so guess what when ur cable company announces a fight on whatever date with big names no matter who they are facing CASUAL fans buy the fight, commentators during the fight hype up the upcoming one, during the process the CASUAL FAN becomes more involved, all the CASUAL FAN hears is pac-floyd-pac-floyd-pac-floyd, so guess whats gonna happen when the actual fight happens......

for example, another fight that has to get made is Juanma-Gamboa, thats a hardcore fan dream fight, now how much do u think that would sell really?
not much right now, hype is a bubble that has to burst for these things to work, its a business son remember that....

No, that is not the point.

You started out by insinuating that BobFather was a friend of boxing, you said that he arranged the best fights, and generally acted in the best interests of the sport..... and then you switched tack to money.

Unless you are Arum's bank manager, then how much money he can fleece off casual (ignorant) boxing fan's..... is completely irrelevant.

Arum doesn't give a **** about the fan's, and he doesn't give a **** about the sport of boxing.

                      Bro, I agree, no arguement.

                      The problem is this.

Unless Arum is guaranteed to have ALL of the following, that fight is a pipedream.....
                      * Promotional interests in both fighters
                      * The money going his way
                      * Guaranteed control over the winner

That is not in the best interests of boxing, or making good fights.
