i dont agree with hitting women. but i know how DAMN hard it can be to resist the urge. Im not going to sit back on my high horse and say "oh he's a piece of **** woman beater", blah, blah, blah. **** ain't that simple, cut and dry. . . based on the evidence, id almost bet roger was attacked, or provoked by st. vil. not saying she deserved it, BUT, i don't think roger just ran up in a damn apartment and attacked her. maybe he's that crazy, but i doubt it.

      That was irresponsible journalism.

The facts that Marley stated differ considerably from the original verdict.

      Marley either.....
      * made **** up, to suit himself
      * had access to facts, that have not been publicly disclosed

      I'm guessing the latter.

The fact that the d.a. didn't proceed with this case has nothing to do with star power and everything to do with a lack of evidence. That's just the truth and I saw it from the beginning.
finally a post that looks at the case and evidence, insted of how much they hate floyd and roger. for those that dont know, its the in thing to do to lock up a entertainer. the da would have positioned himself for re-election ect. if you dont watch the entire trial, you dont know what transpired. how did she make a 911 call WHILE BEING HELD IN A CHOCK HOLD?????? get the facts people

everytime a celebrity, or person in public position stands trial, you always hear from the DA and judges "justice is blind, etc. etc.". Sounds good in theory, but in practice - it is impossible for that aspect not to play a role in the outcome of the trial. The mentality in the criminal justice system now is "to treat celebrities HARDER". whereas in the past, they could get away with anything. so now the deck is stacked AGAINST celebrities, rather then in their favor.

I've heard that Marley is a trouble making idiot that for years has done nothing but bash people and that's why he no longer has any legit jobs like the NY Post, etc.. I agree with the gentleman that said "poor journalism"....

Isn't having your hands around somebodys neck and strangling them 'attempted murder'? I don't know who started it or what has happened (I wasn't there) but the police confirmed Roger had his hands around her neck when they showed up. If she was hitting him with lamps, etc. and all that, couldn't he have grabbed her arms and restrained her? Like I said, I have no idea what really happened except just what the police said in their report...

How the hell did Roger Mayweather buy his way out of that ****. Assaulting a woman in front of a cop? How does he get away with it? Throw him in jail, and Floyd so they can learn their lesson. Maybe in prison they can get to be someone else's 'woman' and learn how it feels to be slapped around and humiliated. With Floyd's Joker-style big mouth he could be the most popular girl in the facility.

First no one should ever hit a woman. Never ever. Though you have the right to restrain any one who is physically attacking you.

Floyd has nothing to do with this case......leave the hatred for him out of it. It's roger's thing.

Celebrities get off easy now..........tell that to oj. That was pretty harsh treatment. Funny how in people's hatred for the mayweather's they denigrate police officer's, da's, assistant da's, judges and many other civil servants who live in Vegas. If this was south dakota, maybe wealthy people can get away with murder, but roger in Vegas? The man is far from a whale. People bring more money to that town than the mayweathers. Cool though that you think the attorney's in vegas would risk their reputation on a mayweather........people are effing delusional.

She agreed to the plea because?..........the sooner the criminal suit is dispensed with the sooner she can move to civil court. I doubt the idea of a civil suit is new.

Not defending roger but I find it hard to believe that he was choking her and assaulting her the way she say's. No one disputed roger's claim of being hit with a lamp. So he was choking her, she hits him with a lamp, gets her phone out, calls 911 and when the police arrive he is still choking her?

Since the cops saw him choking her we have to assume 1 of a few things.......1. the cops were down the block and made it there in seconds or 2. she has the lung capacity of a blue whale or 3. she made things up and what the cops saw was roger holding her up against the wall.

Since the plea deal was agreed to by all parties I'll assume three to be the most likely.

*** up dude there are other scenarios that seems to elude yr simple mind.

how about roger was being aggressive with his language, mderfuca this n that, and threatening behavior, she threatens to call the police and she does. by the time the cops gets there roger got his dirty hands round her neck. think of that ****.
