the more astute observer knows Floyd isn't in his prime, so how could he be wasting it? What he is wasting is the opportunity to make even more bundles of cash.

Think about it.....even if he wasn't fighting Manny he would most def make $30-40 million fighting Cotto, and ditto for Ortiz (who would get 30% or less). He's leaving a hell of a lot of money on the table right now.

If he fought Cotto + Ortiz + MP in that order he could gross north of $130,000,000. Add in the $110,000,000 (give or take) he grossed against ODLH, JMM and Hatton and you have a guy who has grossed an income of a quareter of a billion in 6 fights. Throw in Judah, Gatti and Baldomir for another $10 million and the sponsorship money that would come from Cotto, Ortiz and MP, and the sponsorship that came before and it's not unreasonable that he would have grossed $300-$350 million dollars.

So as i say, he is leaving alot of $$$$ on the table.
