he just became # 1 contender in canada for neven pajkic's title & instead he is stepping up first to fight michael grant.neven pajkic i hope is next after.give tye some credit haters he has come out in 2011 being active & sincere about making waves in the division.that will be only 8 weeks after he beat ray olubawale & regardless if he wins vs grant pajkic is next up after...im pumped for tye...offered him my 11 grant fights i got on tape...GO TYE!!!!

can't wait for this fight.it will be interesting to see him fight a guy this caliber again.last time it ended badly by monte barrett.grant is huge.this is the 2nd guy in a row that has been 6'7 250+ that fields is fighting...he crushed former canadian champ olubawale in 3 & im very interested to see how he does in this fight.the buzz is circulating here in edmonton...owner of MMA fight club MFC is really behind him on this one.too bad the fight wasnt here...if he wins this fight & then beats pajkic for canadian title,tye fields will have to be looked at in a top 25-30 guy in the world.hes around 50 now. -
