They have no choice- all the draws have gone over to showtime.. and if they allow showtime to have all the boxing PPV's and they have none, then that pretty much means showtime wins and HBO loses its monopoly on the biggest boxing events.

    This is HBO's last stand

I'll be buying this card. Morales-Maidana is going to be a war...probably a short war, but I think the rest of the card is going to be good enough to make this PPV worth it.

I don't understand boxing fans at all. You guys ***** that the undercards are **** but when you get a good undercard an average main event you ***** as well. When are you going to understand you are not going to get a great undercard and a great main event due to all the money big name superstars make. It's time to decide, do you want the big main event and a **** under card or do you want 4 solid fights? I'm buying this ppv.

IF you think it is a shitty fight do you want it to take budget at a network or be on PPV where it hurts no one and those who wish to view it can.

If this fight is ppv worthy, then Khan-Bradley definately should be HBO ppv.....

Some of you guys fail to understand the dynamics of boxing on PPV, and like it or not the current model will not change anytime soon.

The reason why the UFC is doing so well is because they embrace cards like this.

damn good card ill be buying it maybe cause erik is my favorite fighter ever
How is that a good card? Morales hasn't beaten a decent fighter since 2005. He's shot. Winky Wright is engaging in his 2nd fight since 2007. James Kirkland is returning after 2 years to fight a walkover. So you're spending $50 for Michael Katsidis vs. Robert Guerrero in a battle of lightweight contenders.
