    Maidana vs Morales, HBO PPV...Really?

Am shocked that this is gonna be on HBO PPV. When Maidana is coming off a loss on HBO world championship boxing, and Morales hasn't looked all that good on his comeback either.

I know it's a good undercard and all, but should it be on PPV and will it do well?

I was planning on watching this fight but not on PPV, thought it would be on ESPN since Morales is an ESPN fighter. This fight is not worth 10, 20, 30, 40, let alone 50 dollars. This fight should be on ESPN2.

it can get kinda ppv worthy if they put atleast 1 or 2 more real good undercard fights on it, otherwise no.

Undercard looks pretty decent. Maidana might be coming off a loss, but he looked good in it. Morales waaay past his prime, but at least he's had some tune ups. Should be a good fight.

Golden Boy has been putting out some pretty ****ty PPVs the past few months. Don't know why HBO goes along with it especially when they don't really sell, except Marquez's weren't terrible.

              So we've had in succession:

              Marquez-Diaz II
              Mosley-Mora
              Morales-Maidana

              Tragic

Hope the undercard is solid at least for Morales-Maidana.

HBO isn't putting this PPV on, Golden Boy is because HBO or Showtime wouldn't buy it. HBO PPV is a seperate division of Time Warner. It's a damn good undercard too.

Since when does GBP do its own PPVs? I also have a hard time believing HBO would turn this card down for an after dark slot.

Looks like a good card to me.

From what I understand Morales really wanted the fight too. I think he's getting smashed badly but we have to remember this is what he asked for.
