Well...that last paragraph was all I needed to hear from him to know for sure and without a doubt that he pulled out on purpose to try and make the fight at a later time. HBO already canned him, and I hope Showtime does the same. He belongs on ESPN undercards.

he thanks showtime for the opportunity but is to early in his career and than he says he didnt want to sell his fight with ward short? translation ( he saw the opportunity to get out of the tournament and he did) just like cintron jumping out the ring when he saw the opportunity. "GREAT ACTORS" nah i dont think so

Hallelujah! It's a miracle, people. Andre Ward making such a rapid return to the ring after shaking off that serious brain damage he had last year. Who would have predicted that? What a comeback. It's a medical enigma how he recovered so quickly. What a guy.Comment

Please....Dirrell is yet another fighter blessed with undeniable gifts to become the best in the world but is limited by being a mental midget. The day he realizes that his brother, grandpa', and cousin have taken him as far as they can is the day he starts his accent back up the rankings. For as long as he has those dummies running his career he will ALWAYS fall short of expectations. Just like Alexander he will almost always be the better of the combatants in the ring but winning against top flight comp will be precarious because of his limited heart and mental capacity. It's the same reason that fighters with seemingly limited potential like Bradley and Ward continue to defeat all comers. What they lack in speed and strength they make up for in disipline, heart, and most importantly smarts.Comment
