How can you respect this clown? He quit when he was getting pressured against Arthur Abraham while putting one of the best acting performances since Million dollar baby. I will give u this he did put on a clinic for the 1st 9rds or so. Neurological problems? More like they didn't have a venue, he didn't want to fight in Oakland and no where else no one wanted to watch him fight. All the talent in the world but fights like an amateur and acts very childish in and out of the ring.

There is unfinished business with him and Arthur Abraham. Dirrell seemed to fold under pressure after starting so well. Maybe now he has seen Abraham beaten a couple of times he will have the confidence to follow through but when they met his mental demons appeared to take over as an unbeaten power puncher who had taken everything from him was finally walking him down. Dirrell bailed IMO but I dont think he would look for a way out next time.

Dirrell was floored in that fight but it wasnt ruled. He was also the only guy to ever floor Abraham so despite having quick hands he also has a bit of a dig because he hurt Froch more than Abraham and Kessler could.

Good fighter Imo he just has to work on his mental attitude when the pressure is on. Not sure he can change natural instincts but he can work on his boxing to avoid being in that position in the first place.

Dirrells injury is very serious. He has been out now 17 months and might never come back. People that think someone like Dirrell can just sit out two years and make no income are out of their minds.
