Omar Henry gets EXPOSED badly......

i chatted with him once, in one of the other boxing forums.
at that time, he was undecided whether to accept pac's offer to be a sparring partner in preparation for cotto (since henry's style is a lot similar to miguel's). we all know he refused the offer, he probably would've been seen in the 24/7, but he feels like he's better than a sparring partner.
he also mentioned that he thinks that he's better and a more complete fighter than miguel (i'm not joking).Comment

Well if you ask me Top rank aint exactly pillars for morality. Ive seen much worse fighters say ****** thinngs. Atleast when they **** him on his money they'll have an reason. Let him fight, boxing could definitly use him. Plus it would be an easy way to capitalize on his minor celebrity. Stop being sensitive Top Rank and be smart and get the money. This was an excellent read. I can't really feel sorry for the kid.

Social Networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter have granted public figures and their fans unprecedented access to one another. Fans are now able to keep in touch with their favorite fighters in a way that was previously unheard of. Of course, these benefits also carry the added responsibility of allowing a lot more people into your world than you’ve previously been accustomed too. This feature requires the individual to self-censor themselves to ensure that they don’t self-incriminate or slip some aspects of their lives into a public environment that they previously would have been hesitant to do so.
One fighter who’s learned the more negative possibilities of social networking is Omar Henry. That name may only be familiar to the hardcore fans of the sport but I ensure you that Henry was a fighter who was on the fast track to stardom.....
Read the rest here....it's kinda long.

who gives a blue eyed **** about top rank you f@gs. top rank just takes advantage of fighters....fighters could do without a CROOK promotional company like top rank. boxing could do without these crook promotional companys. **** them....
as far as henry goes....i think the kid has a bright future.Last edited by americanbot; 02-11-2011, 07:00 PM.Comment

It's interesting to note that Henry, who recently got back in the good graces of Top Rank and his managers, wasted no time trashing his manager on twitter last week. This was not much more than a week after I reported he would be returning to the fold and fighting soon.
Details of that aftermath to follow.

Omar was a real cool dude when he first went into the Mayweather Gym.
He made me take a pic of him sitting on the ring and he said ,"Make sure Mayweather Promotions is in the pic".
He trained with Roger everyday and sparred a couple times.
Dude has really good work ethic from what I've seen from him.Comment

Damn, I remember everyone talking **** to me when I was telling him this a while back......
Then they talk **** when he responded just like this website said he did....
I guess I knew what I was talking about, huh?Henry responded to his previously loyal twitter followers by insisting that they were jealous or “haters” of his new-found celebrity.Comment
