during floyd's time... he is the pretty face of boxing, while pac is working behind the scenes getting attention.

now this is pac's time... he is the face of boxing, while floyd is doing shhiit on himself just to get attention.

has mayweather garnered enough media attention before he retired like pac is doing now?

Pacquiao is more popular if we're using the traditonal sense of the word. Floyd is barely even "popular", hes just well known.

Manny is by far more popular worldwide, in the way that Beckham is still the most popular footballer in the world even today when he is way past his prime. Mayweather is like a C.Ronaldo type, the best around but not the most popular.
