Best known active boxers to the general public aside from Pac and Floyd? No one.

I tend to agree. I think the only name that can be added to those two is Evander Holyfield. Sometimes I even wonder how famous Pac and Floyd really are outside boxing circles.

juanma in pr because boxing is #1 over there right about now. miami has a lot going on over there with lebron and the heat. when ever the hurricanes are good, they are #1 overthere.

If you were to ask people on the street in Puerto Rico which boxer they know between Cotto and Lopez, who do you think would get the most recognition? I think Miguel is better known in NYC.

              B hop

              Cotto

              Both Klitsckos

              David Haye

              Amir khan

thomas adamek is in the top five gate draws in the united states

jean pascal and lucian bute are both big draws north of the border

canelo's already huge south of the border
and he's gonna break into the stratosphere before his run ends

              juanma lopez

other than that i cant think of too many guys with massive followings

calzaghe, hatton, de la hoya, all retired but could all sell out an arena with a comeback

Yeah Holyfield is probably the only known boxer. He's been in the game so long and everyone knows about the biting incident with Tyson hahah. And I think Pac and Floyd are pretty famous outside the boxing community. They have become a household name to those who have ESPN and or HBO.

Wow! Adamek? I wouldn't have guessed he's that big a draw. Canelo seems to be coming up in popularity quickly.

he might be better known still in pr but he isnt as liked there as he is in nyc. people in pr loved tito 2 much 2 let go right away so not every1 was behind cotto. juanma is more liked then cotto since he came along. being how tito runs with him, its a plus for lopez.
