Thirdly, Once again let me restate that I am American, and Khan is one of my favorite fighters.

You are mis-informed boys, I bought my tickets 1 day after they came out aprox 36 hours, and I was ringside towards the corner 5 rows back.

At least we are good boxing fans, we come out and support our fighters... more than I can say about american boxing fans, who can't even turn out for 2 of their best young fighters. Pathetic

Where did you buy them from?

"We at Showtime did not, but the promoters did," said Larkin of Frank Warren, who is putting on this event, which sold out in less than two hours.

Thanks to American cable TV, the junior welterweight clash Saturday between Kostya Tszyu and Ricky Hatton is taking place at 2 a.m. local time in Manchester, England.

Its a shame their isn't more fans like you, then good young US fighters like Bradley, Ward, etc would get more exposure and the hype they deserve from the whole country. I know Ward does some decent gates, but come one with that talent...gold medallist, the kid should be a superstar, even if he can be poor to watch

Think it was the Men direct or the number that was given on Hatton's website might have been ticketmaster not 100% sure though, tbh I went to Tackie, Tszyu, Maussa, Mayweather, Lazcano, and get them confused, def got the mayweather tickets from ticketmaster. But I do remember when and where; because I waited for my boss to leave the office, went to the toilet and phoned up for them around 6:00pm, they came out in the morning the previous day. Sometimes they bull**** with the numbers and exaggerate the timing I think...mind you when I phoned it was only ringside tickets left. I paid approx £350.

The demand for tickets to this fight shows Amir Khan’s increasing popularity amongst the boxing fraternity. His opponent, Irish boxer Paul McCloskey is not even regarded as a big name challenger to the former Olympic medallist, who is trying to use this fight as against McCloskey at the MEN Arena as a pit stop for a possible bout against WBC and WBO champion Timothy Bradley this summer.

NOW I hope all that greedy talk will stop....Khan is MAJOR in the UK so dudes should stop complaining and just ride with the 70/30 or whatever the hook up is and stop accusing AK of throwing low ball numbers at his opponents.....the ONLY dude at 140 who shouldn't have to ride the 70/30 wave is Timothy Bradley....he EARNED the right to get IMO 50/50....60/40 for Bradley is kinda disrespectful IMO.....props to AK for puttin' asses in the seats like a STAR is supposed to
