First of all it doesn't matter if Pavlik was P4P or not. He was the best MW out there and Martinez beat him at MW.

And, Cotto and Hatton were not really considered P4P by the time Pac fought them either.

Ummmm..... It was reported on boxingscene that Sergio Martinez
wanted the rematch with Margarito to avenge his first loss to him
10 YEARS ago. Margarito said "NO" because he wanted the Pacquiao
fight. Do you guys ever follow what's going on in the sport of boxing?

I understand that you want to make Pac look good because he beat
Margarito and Martinez lost to him BUT anyone with a logical, unbias,
boxing brain knows that Margarito's head would get flown out the ring
at this point. Lil ass Pac beat in Margarito's face for 12 rounds and
Sergio blasted Paul Williams into space (A man that beat a better Margarito
than Pac did, with a possibility of having plaster in his gloves). Stop
reaching because it's nothing there. To top it off Martinez challenged
Pac and Pac team replied that he is "TOO SMALL" after winning Martinez's
belt VACANTLY.

The point is that, eventhough Pac had the biggest exposure and most promoted fights in the sport of boxing for the year 2010. He got outdone by someone that can't even pack a venue. Do you know why? Because Sergio Martinez fought the better competition and look good while doing it, while Pac was at target practice with them same style fighters. AND PLEASE! Stop mentioning Clottey because that wasn't impressive AT ALL.

sergio martinez = fighter of the year (1 time)

manny pacqquiao = fighter of the year (3 times)
= fighter of the decade

"Shane KO'd Margarito" So what? Both Mosley and Martinez are 2 different fighters, with 2 different styles, and 2 different attributes. Just cuz' Mosley did doesn't mean Martinez could.

"Martinez KO'd Williams, who beat Margarito" So what? That doesn't mean anything either. Just because fighter A KO'd fighter B and fighter B beat fighter C. Doesn't mean fighter A can beat fighter C let alone KO him.
