Abner Mares is a little Puta and a punk, He went to the olympics came back empty handed and then got a world title shot and got a draw, In his last fight he showed all he can do is throw low blows.

I hope he fight Donaire, I would just love to see Abner Mares get sparked and really have the utter **** kicked out of him. I cant stand the punk.

mares is a good boxer with hell of a heart... he just lacks the excitement...

yeah he beat vic, but vic is more popular with the casual fans compared to mares...

i say an exciting win (KO perhaps?) against the winner of montiel-donaire will pretty much justify the hype...

but i also don't think that mares is being hyped... or over-hyped... i mean, i don't read/see any stuff about the dude except for the bantam tournament...

glad someone mentioned that. and to those who think he got a "GIFT" decision against Vic...LOL!!! get real. i like Vic but i called the fight fair and saw Abner beating Vic. Vic never even found a groove.

A great performence against Agbeko can catapult him into a fight with Donaire.
