    ABNER MARES...what do you think?

i want to know what everyone thinks of this guy. i feel like he's highly underrated. last two fights have been tough (Draw against Perez, Win against Vic D.) and he has his toughest fight ahead of him with Agbeko. give me your verdict...

worry about him a bit to be honest. This likely could be the third straight war he will have been in and I wonder how much more he could take

kid just got to the spotlight

The boy is a man. I think he is the best at the weight class and has power to move up a little. He is part of the reason Im excited about boxing's future.

i know what u mean. he aint taking the easy way to the top... (cough) all u protected fighters...this dude is taking on top level. he even went on to say that if he beat agbeko he wants the winner of montiel/nonito. DAMN son, this kid has balls. but he needs a break and then a competitive fight but NOT the winner of montiel/donaire.

When you're ready you're ready. He seems to have the right attitude. More of a man's frame of mind when it comes to boxing opposed to a young guy like Ortiz.

Probably won't have the longest career since he is only 25, but the guy is the real deal. Definitely a potential top ten P4Per in the near future.

If he beats agbeko i think he should be Considered. A draw against perez that should of been a win a win over vic amd if he beats agbeko thats a hell of a resume.

I see an Abner Mares-Juanma Lopez mega fight in the future, if Juanma's fatass lays off the twinkies and honey buns...
Abner Mares defeated him twice in the amateurs and I feel he will defeat him as a pro too.

Abner Mares is a little Puta and a punk, He went to the olympics came back empty handed and then got a world title shot and got a draw, In his last fight he showed all he can do is throw low blows.

I hope he fight Donaire, I would just love to see Abner Mares get sparked and really have the utter **** kicked out of him. I cant stand the punk.
