don't hold your breath on khan-bradley.

i read khan-bradley is close BUT...... arum is trying to make a play on bradley.

bradley has 1 fight left on his contract with his current promoter.

arum/top rank is dangling a possible pacquiao fight in front of bradley.

if you were bradley and you had 1 fight left before you can leave your promoter and another promoter is offering a possible big money , big name fight......would you risk a dangerous khan fight?

i know bradley takes on all comers but still......he gotta think about that.

khan is a dangerous fight. it's good money but certainly not a pacquiao fight.

      now i'm confused.

i read in another article that he couldn't fight morales anymore if he didn't sign his extension so i thought the morales fight was conditional on him re-signing with gbp.
I don't think Morales is signed to Golden boy TBH...But, maybe he is now since he's fighting Maidana who's a GBP fighter...That is a good question though.

        I'm rapt with Marquez.

        Good job Juan.

It's great to see that he's not getting pushed around, and not getting elbowed into doing things that are not in his best interests.

Marquez was obviously pissed off (no pun intended) with GBP for yet again scuttling his chances at a third Pac fight. The first time out was when Pac-Floyd fell through on January 2010 and JMM was considered by Top Rank. But Schaeffer asked for 50-50 with OSDT for JMM, the very same conditions that led to the Floyd fight disintegrating. Then, after Margarito, Schaeffer submitted a tender for a Pac-JMM fight asking for an amount that was several times higher than what GBP itself paid Marquez for facing Mayweather.

Marquez obviously realizes now that he won't ever get that third fight as long as he is with GBP.

i'm confused because i never heard of morales signing with gbp.

BUT i read in another article that jmm has to re-sign with gbp if he still wants the morales fight.

like it was a condition in getting the morales fight.

badly played by gbp tbh. i don't know what they're doing. arum is taking it to them.

arum even managed to hurt gbp's strongest supporter HBO with the deals he made with showtime/cbs.

A guy like Bradley shouldn't have that choice to just wait around. Bradley vs Marquez (both at Top Rank) would sell decent PPV numbers and even if Marquez leaves Golden Boy HBO could force either him or Bradley to face Khan in the summer.

bradley doesn't have to wait around really.

                      he has 1 fight left.

golden boy/hbo cannot force bradley and marquez to fight khan. not with the money a fight against pacquiao would make.

hbo has their own problems right now. we'll see how showtime/cbs handles the cotto fight and the pac fights coming up.

if it turns out well for showtime/cbs........hbo will have more things to worry about than forcing bradley to fight khan.
