There is just way too much empty talking between camps nowadays for the game to be really interesting. The fighters are barely fighting, and even when they do we rarely see intriuging battles. Maybe there is just too much money in the game today, I don't know. But seriously, it is just so tired reading these forums and articles because it is just as I said, so much dialogue about who said what, and so little real fighting happening.

The main reason I come on here now is the lounge.
Same I still follow the pros, but not nearly as much as I used too.

If I didn't love training and doing boxing so much I probably would have fell pretty far from the sport.

Beat me to it, I was gonna say he could always watch two men grope around on the floor instead.

To answer some things people have raised in the thread, I DO watch small shows. I am a golden gloves champ and support the sport at amateur level.

I'm complaining about the big names not fighting enough, and all the talking and lack of action. Of course there are quality fighters we don't hear much about, but at the end of the day, boxing needs big names at the top to live up to their reps to keep things really interesting. And that is not happening.
