It was the IBF ranking. Roy was probably less experience that Hopkins.maybe by an alphabet belt, which means little since their records are terrible and also they flat out ignore the existance of the belts' champions. In reality, he was around 9th in the division.
good win, but Hopkins was not prime, and Roy being slightly not prime doesnt change that.
Hopkins also decided to stay away from Roy during his prime years. Roy offered him 60/40 but Hopkins would not accept.
Hopkins just feasted on blown up light-middles and welters when RJJ was moving up through the weights to heavy beating some great fighters along the way and putting on some great shows.Comment
