Do you have any idea how ****** you sound when you try and say and use statements like that to back up your assinine notion?

There is nothing you can say that will support your claim that Vitali won the slug fest when the fight was stopped as a TKO with Vitali looking like this:

Right, take a look at that photo and tell yourself a few more times it was "luck" his face ended up looking like that.

You say I keep repeating myself. That's because I'm right, and you keep jumping from hope to prayer that you can say something to justify your non sense.
gee, vitali's face doesnt look like the scorecards... you know, the scorecards that say vitali was WINNING the fight.
oh yeah. lewis looked like he was really dishing out the ownage to vitali... while he was behind on all judges scorecards, was almost KOd in the 2nd, who couldnt help but stagger to his corner at the end of every round, and who didnt look the least bit happy about winning the fight (because he knew how bad he looked).

theres something you and bozo forget: yes, vitali's face was ****ed up and lewis did land half of his power shots. and yes, lewis did win. but yes, lewis did get his ass kicked and ran away when faced with a rematch.
Or maybe Lennox just knew that he was past his prime (an old 37) and he realized that he didn't want to tarnish his legacy. He realized he looked like **** KICKING VK's ass. Why would he want his legacy tarnished against a fighter who wasn't even that establisehd. What if VK turned out too have a **** career and lost the next 5 of his fights, how would that make LL look?

You just jump from one desperate attempt to another.

What the cards say in a 6 round fight that was stopped because one guy's face was beaten to a pulp are about as relevent as any of the non sense you've spouted here.

Face it, Vitali put up a good effort but made a bad decesion in trading power punches with Lewis for 6 rounds.

That's why his face ended up the way it did, and that's why he lost the slug fest and the fight.

every1's always saying how good lewis is in rematches. if hes so good in rematches, then why does the have to worry about a rematch with vitali?

Probably becouse he won this one. Besides, Vitaly had his chance to win the fight in the second round but couldn't seem to close the deal. It would have been a great upset but it wasn't to be. There shouldn't be a rematch anyway, Lewis has done just about everything, he should rest on his laurels.

The real winner was Lewis, who punched Vitali's face into a bloody pulp

he did so by winning the slug fest, being the bigger puncher of the two, landing 50% of his power shots in the slug fest.

Lewis won the slug fest, which is why it was stopped as a TKO.

                    You idiot.

You wanna talk numbers? Here's a fact for you, Vitali out threw and outlanded Lewis in every category for every round that fight lasted. Don't believe me, than I would be more than happy to put up the statistics. Lewis didn't cause that cut cause he landed more than 50% of his power punches, he caused it because he grazed Vitali with a right in round 3. Those power punches were alright, but Vitali ate each one, and took Lewises honey punch (uppercut), and it barely looked like it phased him.

You know there was a reason Vitali was winning the fight on every judges scorecard, and virtually in the whole arenas eyes as well. Sure Lewis won, because the doctor stopped the fight due to the cut, but that doesn't mean Vitali couldn't continue, or didn't want to, if he did than risk of damaging his vision would've been a problem, thats why the decision to the stop the fight was the appropriate one, but in no means did Vitali get outgunned and outbox by Lewis, vice versa.

If Vitali was anywhere near the puncher Lewis was, this would be a moot point because he would have scored the stoppage.

But he's not, so his plan to trade power punches with little regard for defense is ultiamtly what lost him the fight.

His face was a bloody mess, Lewis caused 5 seperate cuts, and kept working on the largest one until it was stopped.

Like I tell every nut hugger in every thread like this that pops up twice a month, what the score cards say in a 6 round fight that's stopped as a TKO are meaningless.

Vitali lost. It's over, it's been two years, and all the crying and sugar coating in the world isn't going to change it.

                      Time to move on.
