HBO at least excersiced a little bit of quality control when Khan tried to be a total cherry picker by going after Witter. Kudos for that. But I'm still not high on this fight with McCloskey. I heard Dave Rado say he's better than Lucas Matthyse. Yeah right. I'm sure Matthyse would be willing to fight Khan even if it's in April. Khan just wants to fight an opponent with no chance to beat him.

Kahn/Alexander would have been good before Kahn's fight
with Bradley. If Kahn was to lose to Alexander, then it would
have to be a rematch between Alexander/Bradley. Not sure
people want to see that one again. Bradley would be
      Alexander again.

Let's be honest a fight with Bradley or Alexander was never gonna happen so soon after they fought each other. This is a good fight even if people don't realise it yet. McCloskey is a good boxer with skill and talent and this will be big in the UK and Ireland. Plus most of Khan's future fights I see happening in the States so it might be the last time to see him fight in the UK for another year or two.

I dob't even know who Mcloskey is.

All these Irish nuthuggers saying he is good, he's a ****ing bum from the fights I have seen on Youtube.

Prescott is a bum but **** me, it would have been a good fight to see Khan beat his conquerer.

Khan seems to have a trend of bum, decent, bum decent etc... Heck Bradley fougur Abregu who was unknown.

Bradley has my respect, but he ducked Alexander for ages, and only made the fight after he looked bad VS Kotelnik.

Glad HBO reject this fight, I hope they reject more cherrypicking fights like this one And its also shows that HBO isnt just on Arum's back with BS fights, They are on GBP backs too.

remember when everyone was bashing khan for fighting kotelnic, saying he was a paper champ and easy, even when khan won people had a huge go saying it was a nothing fight

only when kotelnic beat alexander (but lost the decision) did people realise the feat khan achieved

mccloskey is the same, yes it will be a one sided fight but that will be because khan is that good mate, only in around 1 year will we see how good the win was if mccloskey gets some big fights in america
Americans were never that high on Alexander. It was more like we were hoping he turned out to be something big. Personally I never thought much of him at all. The only thing that will play out is the fact that Khan is the second coming of Naseem Hamed and that aint a good thing to me.

What the hell are you talking about? Aside from race and religion, Hamed and Khan have absolutley nothing in common in terms of boxing!!!

wow, the ignorance of peeps comparing khan to prince naz. totally different pugilists, in and outside the ring.

anyway, this fight never was meant to be anything other then a stay busy and tune up. Khan won't have any problems with Paul. Paul might be able to go the distance, especially since khan will prolly use this fight to experiment.
