McCloskey is as credible an opponent as Peterson is, and is a far bigger name in the UK than Peterson is, because he's from Northern Ireland and is the European champion. He is a skilled fighter and is in The Ring's top 10. He will be very good preparation for Bradley, far better preparation than any of the other fighters you named other than Peterson. And more credible than any of the other fighters you named other than Peterson.

In any case, Peterson was Khan's first choice opponent, McCloskey was his second choice - but McCloskey agreed terms whereas Peterson didn't, so he got the fight.

You obviously know nothing about boxing outside of American fighters. Salita wasn't even ranked in the top 50 when he fought Khan. He was a tomato can. McCloskey is a Ring top 10 fighter and European champion, and has real skills. McCloskey would beat Salita with one hand tied behind his back.

people need to stop sucking Maidana's ****, Khan had him on the floor squealing like a pig, the only time Maidana looked like wining was when he caught Khan with a desperate shot. He had his chance and he wasnt good enough, Khan is young and is getting better, if you ask me the way Bradley is going on it seems like he doesnt fancy Khan.

As for prescot, yup he knocked khan the **** out, good for him. Khan is a world champ and makes more money in one fight than prescot does in a decade, and besides, fighting prescot is hardly a good tune-up for a bradley fight is it?

By the time Khan gets to the prime/peak of his career no one will remember prescot, who the **** gives a **** about or remembers the guy who knocked manny out?

So stop hating on Khan, he has great potential and bradley will be headbutting his fists if he doesnt duck him.

Fuck off, you've never got anything good to say about British fighters or Britons.

Oh, and Calzaghe's an ATG hahahahaha

Khan barks the loudest of the top three at 140 lb about being the best. Alexander and Bradley were man enough to fight each other, but Khan is fighting someone not know to many boxing fans. I'm willing to bet that Alexander or Bradley won't look for an easy fight. This tells me that Khan isn't sure of himself. I hope McCloskey can pull the trigger and put this guy in a position where Alexander or Bradley won't give him a second look.
Khan said even before the Maidana fight (if I remember correctly) that afterward he wanted a fight in England in April, and then the winner of Brad-Dev in the Summer. At least wait to see if he lives up to his word before criticizing him.

So he's looking to duck in other words? Khan made it clear from the start, he would fight the winner of the Alexander/Bradley fight in the summer for all the marbles. This unification fight was never gonna happen in April so don't see what the problem is.
