That I understand. I'm referring to certain boxing fans/mma haters who try to discredit MMA by stating how boxers make more money than UFC fighters, and how Dana White is robbing the fighters. To be honest, if boxing followed the same blueprint as UFC, it would be a much better sport. Especially for us fans. Now as stated in my first post, i'm a boxing fan before anything else, but it can be VERY frustrating being a fan at the same time. Now there's plenty of ways to bash mma/ufc, but one thing is for sure......those are some happy ass fans! They get the fights that are suppose to happen, and the best fight the best.Comment

I am for sure. Unlike most hardcore boxing fans I happen to appreciate mma. Should be a cracker.Comment

no. theyre trying to highlight striking matches as the idea of the card being 'great'. great mma standup=mediocre boxing/kickboxing. and I automatically recongnise that and it turns me off a bit.
If I watch mma matches, I dont want to see them try to box each other. just doesnt work.Comment

MMA is a combination of all martial arts. Of course a striker isnt going to have the same poise and characteristics of a pro boxer. Boxing is only 1 aspect of mma. When you're a mma fighter and have to worry about kicks, elbows, punches, knees, takedowns, etc..... Then you're not going to witness just superb boxing skills.no. theyre trying to highlight striking matches as the idea of the card being 'great'. great mma standup=mediocre boxing/kickboxing. and I automatically recongnise that and it turns me off a bit.

i like watching both but the thing i like about mma is matches like lesnar vs cain but i also dislike when they pit guys coming off looses and putting them on ppv as the main event. Also dont like the fact that if you loose in ufc you still get tons of opportunites they recycle their fighters way too much.Comment
