Arum may be a scumbag but when he puts his weight into it (literally and figuratively), he definitely knows how to promote a fight. Regardless that Mosley is past his prime, this is going to appeal to alot more to casual fans with the CBS push than it would have normally...

What is the over/under for how many times Mayweather's name gets mentioned during this promotion? If the Pac/Margarito build up is anything to go by then it should be pretty high.

It is very strange how the anticipation of a big fight just a few weeks or days away changes almost every boxing fan here.

Right now we see a lot of "yawn", "big deal", and "fu.ck this fight" replies.

But come May and these same posters, be it under their normal names or an alt will tell themselves and us, "fu.ck it! War Mosley!"

top rank is the only true promoter left in the sport (aside from main events). everyone else is a bunch of booking agents.

Bob Arum can pour syrup on **** and call it pancakes, and people on this site would gladly eat it right up. He only went to CBS for the March Madness spots. He's not doing this to bring boxing back to the networks, he's doing it to save the garbage fight known as Pacquiao/Mosley.
