    No. Seeds are not being planted. Takes time to come up even with low profile fights. Result: not a lot of boxing is seen on tv. It's under exposed. It's a chicken and egg or a cart is ahead of the horse thing. How do you expect to come up with new stars with this condition?

    Everyone is streaming non-big fights. No network is coming up with solutions to make boxing a mainstream sport and free to watch on regular tv.

      Have you heard about the discussions going on between Top Rank and CBS? Boxing may be coming back to free tv.

        I can understand that it is too expensive for networks to come up with boxing events on a regular basis. The solution might be to cover boxing in all corners of the globe. It probably doesn't matter if they were televised a day later so that networks could insert commercials to cover the expenses. Point is, it's far better than nothing.
