Peter is going to KO Wlad, he isnt the favorite for nothing. He is going to catch him eventually

steward does say and do some **** that makes you think hes crazy, but he really does know his **** and he knows his strengths. i think you have to count lewis over tyson as a great performance by a steward fighter, however long ago it was, there are barely any fights anymore.

and really guys, to be perfectly honest, which trainer has a bunch of guys all out there all putting on great fights and winning all the time. not many, i think steward more than holds his own.

steward seems quietly confident in the wlad vs peter fight the same way he was when lewis and tyson fought, which i believe is good for wlad fans.

Manny has all the knowledge in the world, but it's up to the fighter whether or not they want to learn and do it.

The thing that alot of people don't understand is that a figher can come in looking jacked for a fight with 4% body fat, however that is no indication of their cardiovascular system.

Both Vivian and Wlad look like they're in superb condition, which they are, but it's burst energy. There's a distinct difference between training for bursts or training for 12 rounds, something that Steward is notorious for not implimenting on his fighters.

He's still one of the top 4 trainers out there, however he needs to understand that boxing isn't what it used to be. People are in better shape and can do the distance, so he needs to make his fighters realize/adjust to this.

IMO, on the average, the fighters now are in WORSE shape than
they were 20 or 25 yrs ago. Keep in mind there are exceptions to
every rule, but on the average...

          Especially heavies.

i still think that he is a good trainer and he still knows his boxing the guy has a wealth of knowledge ..but as far as people blaming him for what what his fighters do is not fair he is the trainer but in the end the fighter is the one in the ring perfect example is harris i don't know how anyone can blame manny for this jackass loosing to maussa manny was giving him good advice and telling him to stop swinging for the fences because he was going to run out of gas did harris listen ??? hell no so he got ktfo what the hell is manny supposed to do if the guy does not want to listen...?

I don't think Manny is unlucky. He's easily one of the best trainers in the world...its just a case of him being TERRIBLY unlucky with the cases of Wlad and Harris running out of gas. He's a boxing mastermind, and no one can take that away from him.

The Harris-Mausa fight was the last straw for Manny as trainer. He lost tons of respect. Vivian wasn't listening to him in the corner and it seems like Manny couldn't even control him in training camp. If you see a trainer being bullied and disrespected by his fighter, then that trainer needs to retire.
